Don't they know that the format war is over and now everybody can start raising the costs of Blu-ray?!?!

There's the possibility that the BD camp will lower prices via sales to entice new adopters, I'll take advantage of this sale by purchasing Black Book at $15.99! :S

Makes sense, but in order to compete with DVD, they need to lower the price of players as well. These sales are more for the people that have already bought in.
