Nip/Tuck's anti-feminist ridiculousness

Now don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of the show. I've watched it since season 1. It's even made me want to become a plastic surgeon at times. Sure the writing was average, but the show was awesome. The situations were extreme, and I enjoyed watching Christian's sexual dominance and Sean's morally conflicted face.

But seriously, WTF is going on lately? It seems like every episode, they bring in three new psycho girls. It's becoming like the movie Fatal Attraction every week. First season, we had to put up with Kimber and the sex addict, which was fine. But I can't even count the number of psycho girls in this season on my fingers and toes. Come on, a cannibal? A suicidal agent? A older-men loving daughter/killer? A psycho bipolar matron who wants to be a cat?

I'm not a girl, or feminist, but this is getting too much! I'll keep watching because that's how much I love the show, but please, STOP THE MADNESS!!

That's part of Nip/Tuck. Love it hate it.

Did you want to be a plastic surgeon because you thought you'd get to live a glamorous miami beach life having sex with many many hot women, only to treat them all like crap only to have them love you more?

Nah, the show was just so good at the time. But that's unrelated. For the past 5 seasons, I've accepted Nip/Tuck for all its strengths and all its flaws. It's going down a slippery slope, and no one wants to save the show more than me.

Stop watching it then. I've been really enjoying this season - much better than the last few.

In order to enjoy Nip/Tuck I think you have to accept that it's not the same show as in s1 and s2 anymore.
It's now the most fucked up, non-pc, weekly shark jumping madness on tv It's very refreshing

It doesn't need saving. The more depraved the better.
