attn Internet Brands: Google ad for bootleg Song of the South DVD

Just got this ad on the forum:

Ads by Google
Song Of The South DVD
Factory Sealed DVD w/ 8 Page Insert Original Uncut. The one you want.
parisdvds.com
and just now this one:

Sealed Song of the South
Factory Sealed With original price Original DVD unedited version USA
officialsongofthesouth.com
Not sure if you choose what ads google feeds, but this DVD is a verified bootleg. You might want to remove that from the google ad feed, if you can.

Can it really be a bootleg if it's never been released on home video? (for all intents and purposes)

OK, fine, can it really be a bootleg if it's copied from a 20-year-old Japanese laserdisc and has never been released on home video in the US?

www.dictionary.com

bootleg: something, as a recording, made, reproduced, or sold illegally or without authorization.

Yep.

We'll stick these in our list of advertisers that we don't want Google serving on the site. Thanks for the heads up -- let us know if they continue to show up.

Can you do anything about blocking anime bootleg websites that are featured on Ads by Google? I can list them if it's necessary.

This was here months ago as well. I didn't know it was a bootleg and bought one. Haven't watched it, but it was supposedly from Euro Disney or some such crap. Nice little hologram on it to prove it was legit, too.

Teach me to trust google ads.

When Disney goes bankrupt, we'll know who to blame.

Dave will offset that bootleg with the 8 copies of "Old Yeller" he got to hand out as gifts.

Go ahead and post any such URLs in this thread, or send me a PM, and we'll add those URLs to our "Don't server these ads on our site" list with Google. Thanks for pointing them out.

You think the people that made the cartoon are being cheated out of money from this bootleg? No they all died 20 years ago. Who cares?

They all died at the same time! Was there some kind of atomic testing going on where and when they drew the movie?

Opps, I mean it. I'm not too verse on sitcoms from 50 years ago. And no I don't mean sitcoms from exactly 50 years ago to this day.
