Name that TV Theme Song

How well do you know your TV theme songs?

http://www.televisiontunes.com/game.html

My high score is a mediocre 573 for the 10 round version.

(It should go without saying that you need sound to play this game).

288. I lost 300 on one question. Looks random too so you can play multiple times.

480 is my best out of 5 or so tries. I know most everything from the late 80s on, but a lot of the earlier ones trip me up if it's not a cartoon.

547, 537, 799 on rounds of 10.

That last round was all layups from the first notes...

I've never even heard of some of those shows, let alone heard their theme songs.

Fucker keeps on freezing on me. It got stuck on the 20th question once when I had a good score, too.

What's the highest anyone has got on a single question? I am guessing it goes as high as 100, but you have to be ridiculously quick on the draw. The highest I got was a 93.

Pretty steep penalty for getting one wrong, especially since on some questions you have to wait several seconds to hear anything at all.

I got a 90 on Deadwood, but the timer started before I heard a single note, so I would have gotten 100 had they been in sync.

My best is 824 in the 10 round version, after a few tries.

A lot of the themes are from shows I have never watched, or even heard of, so some of it is just a process of elimination. You weed out the shows that a song CAN'T be from (because you know them), and quickly try to fit the musical style to the remaining choices.

My favorite round was one where it got messed up and started playing the songs at 3x speed.

Might have to take this test. Considering I have over 500 TV theme songs on my iPod I think I would do fairly well.

Got a 625 for 10 rounds. Had one on there I had never heard before so it threw me off.

I can only get 420.

I have almost 600 tv themes in my collection, but there are a lot there I don't know.

I got 94 identifying the Spongebob theme.

Piece a crap. It only freezes after I've just gone on a good run.

Edit: Now I can't even get through a round of 10 once without it freezing.

Since you can't go negative there is no punishment for guessing on the first song. I'm still a little too slow on the draw but the best I got was 97 on the first question just by clicking when the names first show up.

719 & 821 on my attempts.

I knew some, but many I was just going with the genre of the music and matching it to the most appropriate title.

I can't get higher than 829. Just getting through all 10 questions without it freezing up is an accomplishment.

Wow. 88 on the 10 round version. Everytime I'd hit one, the next one would knock me back down.

ps. Watch out for that FFWD Superfriends clip -- it blew my ears off the three times it appeared in my 30 round game.
