Interesting assortment of movies... I'm tempted for Blacula, but I think I'll pass on this sale. I'm too backlogged, and I don't need to own any of these...

Are there any discount codes for shipping? $4 ea. is good but an additional $2 ea. shipping sorta ruins it for me. I'd like to pick up Blacula, Mystery Train, XX/XY, Pumpkin, At Close Range and Hoodlum.

I'd like mystery train, but it's not available for in-store pickup. Oh well.

Overboard. Best movie on that whole list followed by Kingpin. Both of which I already own.

Don't see anything else I must have.

If you've never seen it, Runaway Train is an all-time blind buy. I saw this in the theater and was blown away....even though it's from Golan-Globus. I would imagine it looks bitchin' on a widescreen.

Looks pretty good, but also looks like it's non-anamorphic.

Silkwood was pretty good as I recall. But not enough for me to buy it...but I say that to 99% of all movies. I typically only buy a dozen or two movies every year and most of those are for the kids.

Man I don't get why Best Buy can't offer reasonable shipping prices. I know Circuit City gives free shipping on orders of $25.

Really? Silkwood? Meryl Streep, Cher and Mike Nichols all got Oscar nods for that flick.

Three classic Billy Wilder flicks (Avanti, One Two Three, and Kiss Me Stupid) and Ang Lee's "other" gay-themed movie (The Wedding Banquet) all seem attractive. Too bad about the 50% markup for shipping -- LOL -- and none of my local stores have any of these titles available for pickup. Oh well, maybe next time.

I think that ONE, TWO, THREE is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. I strongly recommend it!

This is a horrible scam. An additional $2 shipping for every additional title? Screw BB on this one.

Midnight Cowboy looks like it's the older non-anamorphic release, not the more recent anamorphically-enhanced release.

Thirded, had some titles in my cart and when it said $9.95 for shipping (plus tax damn them) I decided NOT to pull the trigger. Wish this was in store (no locals had any of the titles I wanted for instore pickup, so I might not have gotten any anyway....)

Two things. One, it says online only in big letters, twice, at the top of the sale. And the OP put it in the thread title as well.

Two, don't believe the online system when it says a title is not in your local store. The only way to know is to look yourself. The system says not available when the store inventory goes down to three.

I interpret #1 to mean that the sale prices are only available online. BB's site clearly gives you the option - within the sale page - to pickup titles in store if they are available.

Lots of retailers' websites offer online-only pricing with the option to pick up at a local store. CC sometimes extends special discounts just for that arrangement -- by online, pick up in store.
