Can someone identify this animated short?
It's a black and white stop-action short, probably from Eastern Europe in the 60s. I saw it on PBS in the 70s. It starts with a room that's a shambles. Slowly everything in the room rebuilds itself: the toys come back together, the wallpaper heals its rips and sticks to the wall, and the clock gears reassemble. Lastly the time bomb is repaired. It explodes. Fin.

I wish I could...I also recall some really great animation on PBS when I was a kid (not during the typical kid programming hours either...but in prime time) and if anybody has info on any animated shorts from PBS in the 70's/80's it would be a welcome treat. If only they were collected on DVD.

"Renaissance (1963) which uses reverse motion to depict various destroyed objects (a prayer book, a stuffed toy, etc.) re-assembling themselves, only to be destroyed again when the last object (a bomb) is complete."
Where I found it (by Googling "animation 60s bomb reverse"): http://www.answers.com/topic/waleria...=entertainment
