DVD Talk review of 'Zodiac (HD DVD)' (HD DVD)
I read Ryan Keefer's DVD review of Zodiac (HD DVD) at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=31940 and...
Excellent review! And thank you so much for pointing out the excellence of Jake Gyllenhaal's performance as Greysmith. He is frequently overlooked -- even dismissed -- by critics and audiences alike. That always amazes me -- he is simultaneously subtle and expressive and always intriguing. How he does that is a mystery to me, but I revel in it and eagerly anticipate any film featuring him.

I've got to admit that I've been one of those in the past who's dismissed Jake's work, and since an appearance on Homicide: Life on the Street I've never really cared for him. Though over his last few films, starting with Brokeback and in particular with Jarhead has really come into his own.
Thanks for reading!

yeah, but you'd have to admit that Downey, Jr. really shined in this movie!
hoping this picture isnt overlooked in the Oscars, especially since it was released in Jan. 07 - I think that may be a record it pulls anything. Most wins are popped no earlier than July!
