Advance solicits for June? Good grief!
Anyone notice that The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: Black Dossier Absolute is in this month's Previews but won't be on sale until June 11? And that the new Absolute Sandman Vol. 3 won't be on sale until the end of May?
What's the deal with that? Two years ago everything, including trades, was solicited three months out. Now trades are solicited four months out. Then, starting this month, they are all over the map. What gives?

Yeah, I'm tired of these advance solicits. 3 months doesn't give them enough time to print up the right number of books? Dark Horse does this with titles like Samurai Executioner. Using mail order I pay for this stuff way in advance of publishing and I'm not liking it.

I'm placing my order with DCBS right now, and there is a book I'm sort of interested in, but it doesn't ship until August! That makes me not want to order it, and maybe grab it from Amazon or something instead.
