anything like get 2-3 free blu-rays instantly with purchase of ps3? i checked all the november and december ad threads and didn't see anything. did one occur when the 2 guys took over for speedy? i noticed their threads weren't as informative as speedy's.

I work at Best Buy and I don't believe there has been any deals with a PS3. Right now there is a deal where you recieve 5 Blu-Rays instantly (your choice $34.99 or lower) from the store and 5 free by mail when you buy any Blu-Ray player. . Unfortunately this deal excludes the PS3.
I bought mine about a month and a half ago from Wal-Mart when they offered 10 Blu-Rays instantly and 5 free by mail with the purchase of a PS3. That has been the best deal so far.

There's a chance he could price adjust it depending on the sale stipulations.

Nice way to welcome a new member! The best deal that has been had the last few months was the Wal-Mart deal referred to earlier in this thread. My father-in-law bought a PS3 from Wal-Mart and received 10 of the latest Blu-Rays for free (Die Hard Movies, Spider-Man 3, Hairspray, etc.). Plus we are sending off his rebate for five more. I already own two PS3s but I wish I had prior knowledge of that deal and would have waited to pruchase my second one. Oh well!

I was able to get 5 free movies instantly with the 40GB PS3 when it was first released. I overheard some people at the BestBuy CS desk with a Circuit City flier talk their way into the deal (the 5 free movies in the CC flier were the rebate ones, but when they called over to CC, the employee said it was instant). After I saw them successfully get this, I ran and grabbed a PS3 and 5 movies and went to the service desk and said I wanted the same deal. So YMMV on price matching these instant deals offered by other stores at BestBuy--always depends on who is behind the counter.
