If it's being presented as original broadcast, I'll most definitely buy this. Early Edition is pretty big on my most-wanted list, and I hope the studio really gives this its proper due on DVD. They definitely need to gather everyone together for bonus materials too.

I enjoyed the first couple of seasons of this and would definitely like to revisit it. Not a likely purchase, but I look forward to Netflixing it.

With this and Evening Shade now coming, is it too much to hope for Brooklyn Bridge?

I enjoyed the show, but it's a bit too cheesy for me for repeat viewings.

I think I watched the first season and part of the second season. I did like the show. I'll probably only pick it up if there are some decent special features (i.e. commentaries). Commentaries always put me over the top for TV shows. I'll vote after I find out.

One of the strangest episodes was the Early Edition-Martial Law crossover.

I don't remember that one, and I watched both shows. That's back when I used to watch shows on CBS.

Yes, there was a crossover with Martial Law. It was in 1999.

http://us.vdc.imdb.com/title/tt0568458/

Synopsis: Gary does his usual routine to help others, and finds himself involved with the robbery of an ancient Chinese helmet that was stolen from LA. Detective Sammo Law from the Los Angeles police department is in Chicago looking for the missing helmet. After investigating Gary's involvement with the case, Sammo and Gary find out Gary accidentally bought the helmet as a piece of an art decoration object. Unfortunately the helmet is stolen again, forcing Sammo and Gary to team up to get it back, while trying to stop the man who stole it and his niece from being murdered by international smugglers who want the helmet.

I voted yes, but I'd only Netflix it since I know that was an extreme amount of syrup built in when I watched it back in the '90s.

Good to see it make it to DVD, now for The PJs....

Would buy only at a super bargain price -- when it eventually gets down to the 16.99-19.99 range.

Was this one of the last prime time Saturday night shows? I always remember wanting to watch it, but I started driving that year and had better things to do than sit at home on a Saturday night.

Yes. I think that, Walker Texas Ranger, & Craig T. Nelson's The District was the last ones I remember and I looked forward to watching all 3 of those on Saturday nights. I thought they were good shows.

Hack with David Morse, which replaced The District, was actually the last Saturday show before it turned into a graveyard.

So getting this. Great show. I saw it in re-runs a few years back on PAX...little cheesy but not too bad.

Just got my review copy in...

I'm really impressed with Paramount. The quality of the episodes looks great. I forgot how much I enjoyed this show. The only special features are "Episodic Promos" which appear to be the 'Previously on...' stuff. Unfortunate, but I'll live with it to finally have this show on DVD.

Now that's strange. On the second and third seasons of "Family Ties", I know they included "Episodic Promos" and they were in fact "Episodic Promos". (According to Sitcoms Online, they were the "Next time on 'Family Ties'..." previews that aired in syndication.) So why is CBS suddenly removing the "previously on..." recaps and mislabeling them as "bonus features"?

GizmoDVD, on the DVD does "The Choice" have an alternate opening credit which included a brief voiceover done by co-star Fisher Stevens? I’m very glad to hear that "the quality of the episodes looks great". I’m looking forward to your review. Thanks.

Mac

I'll check both things when I get home. I have yet to watch an episode, I just skimmed through 2-3.
