I still haven't seen Grandma's Boy. But I hear it's good.

Dirty Work was very overlooked.

Happy Madison movies are OK. They usually just have 5 or so really good belly laughs, and a bunch of dumb lame shit. But I give them a chance.

Very cool! Did I see Ernest Borgnine in there?

Trailer looks funny, plus I'll watch just about anything with Borgnine in it. I can't believe the guy is 93 and STILL working.

The only part of that trailer that was remotely funny was the shark's "voice".

I love Ernest Borgnine too. Just don't mention Brokeback Mountain to him.

Anyway, the trailer didn't grab me but I'd be willing to give it a shot.

Looks funny. Probably won't be able to catch it in the theater, I'll definitely check out on rental.

Doesn't look like my cup of tea, but the local rock station is using the shark's laugh on their morning show. Anytime they feature a voice quote from someone, they play the shark laugh instead of the actual quote.

I saw this several months ago in a screening. It was ok, but nowhere near as good as Grandma's Boy. My biggest problem with these movies is that they play up the drug use WAY too much. Grandma's boy was funny enough to overcome it, but in my opinion Strange Wilderness wasn't. That was a problem I had with Knocked Up as well... and I doubt that I'll even see Pineapple Express.

There's a bit in this movie with a marine animal (maybe the shark I can't remember) that had the whole theater rolling. The animal show bits are pretty funny. Other than that it kind of fell flat. I wish I could remember more, but it was a long time ago.

I think the ads look completely unfunny. Not in a painful, I-want-to-punch-someone way like Meet the Spartans, just in a completely straight faced, not eliciting any reaction from me way. Nothing in the ads even made me smile, and I am usually a sucker for dumb comedy (I loved The Hot Chick for crying out loud).

I agree, the ads are terrible. The trailer wasn't bad though.

Just got back from this...
overall a terrible movie, but there are some big laughs. unfortunately, many of these laughs come from laughing at how bad the movie is. not all of the film is like this, some jokes are just so poorly conceived that you laugh in amazement that anyone could find them funny. so yes, i am disappointed but at least i got some amusement from it. i never thought a movie could make Grandma's Boy look like a comedy classic but this does.

My sister saw this and said it was one of the funniest movies she has seen a long time, but she is 17 and normally can't recognize a bad movie. I'll probably wait for dvd.
