Has anyone heard anything about this?
My roommate stumbled upon this and I was pretty much paralyzed by the trailer.

Hopefully it'll be better than Yo-Yo Girl.

I'm hoping "Machine Girl" might be enjoyable in a good/bad way. Or something. But I usually hate all of those films that kind of come off as live-action anime. The kind that love bullet time, bad special effects and overacting.

It'll need Fudoh-esque vaginal blowdarts to achieve that.

I'm interested in how good it is too. Then again the trailer was pretty rad and I was completely sold on buying this movie soon.

Just finished watching the movie.
Fun. Cheesy. Bloody. Gory. The trailer was spot on, this movie was a blast to watch. I actually enjoyed the extremely cartoon-like nature of some of the death scenes and the entire feel of the movie. A movie like this definitely benefited from this, as opposed to being a completely seriously toned "revenge" flick.
My only complaint was that the movie did drag a bit. That might have been due to the fact that I was waiting all the "infamous" death scenes throughout the movie
The FX are fun. They are sort of all over the place but get the job done. It's a mix of make-up FX, prosthetics and random CGI. Lots of spraying geysers of blood throughout the movie.
Definitely worth the $15 I paid for it. I hope everyone enjoys it!

You might as well go ahead and pick up Meatball Machine as well though since that one's already out - same creative team.

Tokyo Gore Police looks really fun. Might have to pick that one up if it hits DVD soon. Looks even more odd/weird and bloody than Machine Girl was
Probably going to order Meatball Machine at work in the next couple weeks.

Here's a second and longer clip of TGP ...
http://link.brightcove.com/services/...ctid1485881525 (any help on embedding this clip appreciated )
TGP looks beyond insane - taking the best elements from Meatball Machine, Reject or Death and a better looking Sexual Parasite!! Crazy stuff. The quad-katana limbed beast - phenomenal possibilities!! I may have to take a ride to NYAFF just to see this ..

Well Meatball Machine did come out a few years ago now so Machine Girl is the next step with the same team, followed by TGP...it's a progression of splatter.
Presumably this is the clip Visitor Q posted:

Now I don't know if it's higher production values or maybe it's harder for me to recognize bad acting in Japanese, but I can really get into these sorts of films where Troma productions really turn me off.
