Target Prices: December 30, 2007 - January 5, 2008

HI DVDTalkers!

Got the Target circular for 12/30/07 - 1/05/08 in my hands.

Please be aware of the following:
  • All DVD prices listed are advertised as Available Tuesday 1/1/08
  • Suspected Low Price is listed in parentheses
  • GAMERS: The Wii Gaming System is NOT listed in this ad ….. Sorry
  • From time to time special deals / prices will be listed in the Store Notes Section & the in the product price thread that may or may not be available in your specific geographic area. This is due to Regional Market Variations of the nationwide ads that I post and as such, not all deals / prices will be available in all Target stores. Please note that this version of the Target ad originates in the Northeast.
  • Holiday Hours: Sunday 8 AM – 9 PM // New Year’s Eve Through Saturday 8 AM – 10 PM

As always, ask any questions and I'll try to respond as soon as I can.

Folks, please be aware that for health reasons I will be taking a two week break from posting and all forms of work starting January 4th,2008. This break will remove me from the state in which I reside and into an atmosphere more conducive to my rebuilding both my mental and physical state (both of which are at all-time lows at this point in time). I expect to resume full posting duties on January 18th, 2008 barring any new job offers or positions which may come my way.

I will attempt to do as much as I can before that time but for the first time in 3 years there will a hard and fast break in the flow of information that I provide and it will be one NOT caused by the overlords at Circuit City.

***********************************************

That's All Folks!

Have a Good Week!

Free Target $5 Gift Card With Purchase of Any Of 9 High Definition Titles:
Buy 9 and get a $5 gift card? Either that's a typo or it's the worst deal ever.

Anyway, nothing for me at Target this week. Thanks Speedy.

I read it as "any 9" too, and laughed at what a horrible deal it was.

On The Tonight Show's Monday "Headlines," they showed an ad where you get a free 2-liter bottle of soda with the purchase of... a house.

Also, there are only 8 titles listed.

Thank you. I have no idea how I missed the of in there. Funny how one little word can completely change the meaning of something.

Thanks Speedy.

I'm considering the Riddick Trilogy as a blind buy. Can anyone let me know if this is good? Is it worth it?

You'll get lots of different opinions on the second movie, "Chronicles of Riddick". I loved it and wished they would make a third but many people didn't like it. The first movie "Pitch Black" I think is at least enjoyed by most people.

Anyways, for $10 its pretty hard to go wrong so I say

Thanks Wolf. Like you said, for $10 it's hard to go wrong. I guess I'll pick it up to check out the films.
