Xbox live 1600 point card for $17.99 on Amazon

I know this is not door buster sale, but without tax it's not too bad.

Retail is $19.99. If you get them with free tax and shipping it is an okay deal.

I think this is a sale this week at a lot of stores that Amazon picked up on. I don't think it's a perm drop.

It'll be the same at Target stores, in case you want to search for it locally this week.

Looks like the 4000 point card is in stock at around the same discount, if you want an alternative and/or are buying a lot of points.

Somehow it also slipped past me that there's been a sale on some XBLA games: Billiards 2, Lumines (800 each), Zune, Marble Madness, and Small Arms (400 each). In anticipation of getting some more cards, I broke down and finally bought marble madness and am contemplating Zune and/or Small Arms...

I really am only going to use Microsoft points for Rock Band DLC or Halo 3 Maps. Are there any good XBLA games on the horizon?

I think you mean Zuma. I wish we could download a Microsoft Zune.

You can get a pretty decent deal over at ToysRUS.com. They are currently running a deal if you use Paypal you get $20 off $75. I was able to get 4x 1600 Points for $64 after tax. They also give you another $10 off if you spend over $100 (after the initial $20 off), but I didn't think that was a good enough deal to warrant buying that many points.

These point cards can be used to purchase music from the Zune music marketplace.
