Costco: Any Simpsons Season Set $20, get extra $10 off with purchase of Movie

Originally posted at cheapassgamer.com.

I stopped in yesterday and picked up Season 10 and the Movie for $28 total plus tax. The movie is $18, so the combination knocked $10 off it.

Do they have the collectible 'head' packaging, or the regular box sets?

Good deal, although looking at a couple of the movie cases they had, they were full screen NOT widescreen... Strange.

No collecible head packaging. I picked up a widescreen version of the movie at mine.

Stopped in yesterday for this deal and got Season 10 and a SD copy of the movie in widescreen. Didn't see any of the special head packages and the sign (there actually was a sign LOL) didn't have an end date.

What I also noticed is the selection was heavily weighted towards the first seven seasons. If you want Seasons 8-10, better go sooner than later based on what I saw. Had to dive into the bottom box to find a Season 10 set.

Mine didn't have any seasons at mine but I got mine at Wal-Mart for the toys anyway.

They didn't even have Blade Runner either.

The Huntsville AL Costco has the Blu-Ray version of the movie, so I picked that up plus season 10. As noted above, they had all the seasons, but more of the early ones than the later ones.

No sign of Blade Runner (SD, HD, BR).

Thanks for posting the deal!

Still trying to decide if the Blu ray version is worth the extra $10. Might look pretty nice, but not Pixar-level detail in this film, as far as I remember.

I think this is the best in-store blu-ray price around.

I have seen the blu-ray and honestly I think its definatly worth the additional $8... plus with this deal the seasons are dirt cheap so you basically paying $16 for the movie anyway...

Picked up Season 10 and TSM for $27.68 ($19.89 + $17.79 - $10.00) tonight. Took a little digging but found the last Season 10 in stock. Thanks Costco!

(Also picked up X-Files Ultimate Collection for $159.99 ($219.99 - $60.00). Wasn't planning on it, but I figured I could sell the 10 individual seasons on eBay for close to that.)
