Duel: new gameshow on ABC
Anybody else watching this right now? I think it'll be on everyday from now until Sunday. and somebody will def win the jackpot (over 1 milion). The host looks like a tool.

I echo the "seems fake" sentiment. I couldn't take more than about 10 minutes of it, which meant getting through about half a question. What a worthless show.

Mike Greenberg is an anchor/play by play guy from ESPN. Why was Stuart "Booh Yah!" Scott not available?
I think the ratings are going to suck for this show. Game shows in primetime need to be mindless entertainment. This show you have to think way too hard.

Thanks to the strike, I think we'll be seeing ALOT of this type of stuff. I won't mind it so much if the gameshow is actually good though. This one's not horrible I guess.

i'm one and done with this show:
3-4 minutes of playing or 5 minutes of commercials, easy choice to make there
Sorry you got such a crappy job Mike G

It was par for the course for these kinds of shows. There was less than 15 minutes of actual gameplay through the whole 90 minutes -- and TONS of commercials. I actually like the format, though.
How do you get on these shows? Those questions were ridiculously easy. There wasn't one I couldn't have answered with just one chip. Oddly enough, the questions on the online version of the game are much harder.

I couldn't get past the typical dark sets, boomy overdramatic music, and waaaay stretched out tension. Hasn't every game show since Who Wants to Be a Millionaire copied this?
Oh yeah ABC, it's almost 2008. Time to stop producing shows in SD.

I liked the concept but the execution was horrible. Way too many commercials. Too much time between questions. It reminded me of the pacing of DOND before they picked the pace up.

I liked the combination of trivia and gambling, but I think the show sucks too much for me to come back. I even fast forwarded past most of the crap and I was still pretty bored.

Mike Greenberg was obviously uncomfortable...this is his first non-sports primetime gig. If he starts to loosen up a bit, he should be okay - he's great on the radio and on Sportscenter.
Can TV gameshows please ditch the "and we'll find out....right after this commerical!" stuff? It's SO annoying.

This show was barely watchable even on a Tivo. ABC had a commercial it seemed like every other question. I doubt this show will catch on.
