Movie Gallery getting next week's new movies early!

Movie Gallery made a deal with a few studios where we can release next week's new movies on Friday so we have them the weekend before Christmas. They changed the release date to the 21st for us. Not all of them, but the main ones. We will be able to put out RUSH HOUR 3, THE KINGDOM, THE HEARTBREAK KID, AMERICAN PIE: BETA HOUSE, and EASTERN PROMISES. So I’m sure you’ll be able to go and purchase them at your local Movie Gallery starting on Friday as well, at least the three bigger ones and possibly EASTERN PROMISES. You’ll pay a little more (depending on where you usually go) but if you don’t want to wait until next week and want them early then you can get them there while supplies last. If you don't want to buy them then you can go and rent them on Friday.

We were told to put out Rush Hour 3 and next week's other new releases at Wal-Mart ASAP.

As addition, these are the regular release dates for these movies now as far as I know.

I was going to say that I remember seeing this elsewhere. that they were getting soft street dates, rather than hard street dates. This was every store, not just one specific chain.

Was at Blockbuster today and they had the cases for those releases on the shelves with a sign stating they would be available on Friday the 21st.

Not all movies will be though. The dates for Brothers Solomon, Shattered, Intimate Affairs, and a few other smaller ones is still next Wednesday.
