The Darjeeling Limited ----- 2/26/08
Saw this listed on videoeta.com and amazon has it up for preorder. No mention on either sites if Criterion is releasing it. Fingers are crossed. Maybe this and Bottle Rocket will be announced on the 15th.

Although in the end, I think it is unlikely, due to the studios involved.

Criterion has already announced their February titles so I don't think this one will be among them. It's not totally out of the realm of the possibility. Fox has licensed to them before.

Edit: Popcorn beat me to it.
If this release date is accurate, and the disc turns out to be fairly barebones, it's possible Criterion will release a more elaborate edition at sometime.

I don't love all movies by Wes Anderson, but I thoroughly enjoy each movie. If this isn't released by Criterion, I'd second a BD release w/ Hotel Chevelier attached as an extra.
I enjoyed this one quite a bit.

I'm in for a Blu-ray version (hopefully). I'd be shocked if they didn't attach the Hotel short to the DVD (or Blu-ray). Why wouldn't they?

Good movie and don't care if it is a CC release.

Looking forward to this. I was really disappointed in Life Aquatic, so I had low expectations for Darjeeling. It turned out to be one of those rare times where a film not only matched my expectations, but exceeded them.

Here are the extras DVDempire lists:
"Hotel Chevalier
Deleted Scene
Featurette
Trailers"
I certainly hope these are not all of the features. I can't imagine this without commentary.

I hope this comes out on Blu-Ray, otherwise I won't be buying it. Any news, Mao?
If so, I believe it would be the second BD from Fox Searchlight. While they're at it, work on Notes From a Scandal, Last King of Scotland, I ♥ Huckabees, and Little Miss Sunshine.

I, foolishly, didn't catch this in theaters, so I'm getting this disc. I would have liked a Criterion because on studio titles like this the MSRP is always lower and they still jam-pack it with features.
