Bought the Nightmare on Elm Street (SE) BUT...

It didnt include the white box cover art (with Freedy's glove at the front) just the red infinifilm cover case. I got it for $12 plus tax through the internet.

I've been thinking, you think it's worth the extra $8 for the white box cover. Or should i just keep what i have now?

Yeah, unless it's the packaging of a rare and MISB toy.

No, you got the movie and that's all that matters.

Absolutely not. I like slipcovers as much as the next guy, but I won't pay extra for one.

Go find it at a store with a slip cover, buy it, return it sans slip cover.

Then why did you ask? Would you suddenly have felt it was worth it if everyone told you it was?

Wasn't the slipcover a limited-item to get people to purchase the DVD close to release?

Talking about this DVD brings back a ton of memories... I got it from amazon on release day and it was the first DVD I ever watched with my boyfriend - he was FREAKED out the entire time.

The slipcover on this is ugly anyway, and its this weird matte material. The underart is much better.

All depends on how much you like slipcovers. I tend to get really annoyed when I buy just about any dvd from the net and it's sans slipcover and will usually resort to other methods to get said slipcover down the line from somewhere. Again, It all depends on the person.

Then the slipcover would be stuck to the shrinkwrap like they come adhered to the Amaray cases.

Depends on the type of shrinkwrap. I have noticed some tend to 'glue' onto the spine which is weird.
