Wayne's World 2 was certainly an entertaining movie, but I know every line from Wayne's World by heart. I still think it's one of the best comedies ever made.

Easily the first one.
WW2 had some parts that were absolutely brilliant. The fight between Wayne and David Lo Pan....errrr, Cassandra's dad was as great as anything in the first movie. And I loved the spoof of The Graduate. But as a whole, it wasn't anywhere near as clever as the first Wayne's World.

The original. When I first saw the film int he theaters at 16, I thought the Robert Patrick cameo was the funniest cameo that I had ever seen. It was completely unexpected. The second one is enjoyable, but no where near as funny or clever as the first one

The first one, no contest. WW2 had its moments, but overall the whole thing just felt forced, like they were trying to go point by point trying to recreate the 'formula' of the first film. And Kim Basinger felt so out of place in that role.

1) It wasn't as good as the first one.
2) Coneheads left a bad taste in people's mouths.

For me, it's the SECOND one.
1) Mike Myers' dancing during the Village People
2) the naked Indian jokes
3) James Hong's fight scene
4) Christopher Walken
For me, they hit their stride with Wayne's World 2

I guess you and I are the only 2 that voted for the sequel.
You hit the nail on the head for me.

First off, let me start out by saying that Waynes World 2 was the best. What other movie gave us WayneStock, the stretch Garthmobile, Handsome Dan, the man with the dead eye. Let us not forget the classic line "we'll cross the t's and dot the... lower case j's." Don't get me wrong, the first one had it's moments, but after recently watching the first one, I almost fell asleep. If you haven't recently watched both of them, I beg you, don't rely on your memories, watch them both, then pick which one is better. The 2nd one, with all of it's juicy comedy nuggets kept my wide awake. Waynes World 2 wins in my book.

Voted for the the first one.
Not to put the 2nd one down...but it wasn't as good.
I do enjoy them both. However, it's the first one that now comes to mind whenever I hear Bohemian Rhapsody. Sorry, I don't get the same connection when I hear Y.M.C.A.
