Never seen the show. Is it as funny as the games were?

To misquote that lovable lagomorph, "I'LL GET IT!!!" "I'LL GET IT!!!" "I'LL GET IT!!!"

The show is great, and definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of the twosome. Steve Purcell speaks highly of it, and as you can see, he was directly involved with the dvd set as well, so really, you can't go wrong.

Of course this is announced. I waited and waited, and finally bought the VHS set on ebay and transferred the shows to DVD myself.

I'll obviously double dip for those fantastic sounding extras.

I remember loving this show back in college and can't wait to watch it again. Now if they can just release the Earthworm Jim cartoon, I'll be all set!

The comic books (and the PC game to a lesser extent) are so much better than the TV show.

Actually, the TV show pretty much sucks in comparison.

Sam & Max was the very first PC computer game I actually owned when my parents bought a Gateway 2000 386DX/66 with a 200 MEG HARD DRIVE (We ordered a 120 Meg HD, and they sent us a 200, that was a HUGE upgrade back them)

Those Sierra games are still some of my favorite games of all time.

I had no idea it was even a TV show, I will have to check this out.

Sam & Max was actually developed & published by LucasArts.

My local BestBuys put their copies out early (bought mine yesterday), so I suggest you check yours.

You're exactly right. Sam & Max was one of the first games for the PC I bought and I got the publisher mixed up with Willy Beamish, which was published by Dynamix/Sierra which was truly the first PC game I, myself, purchased.

Either way, that era of games is hard to beat, IMHO.

Cant wait to get my DVD. pre-ordered it from FYE for $18.99 Not sure if thats still the price there or not but appears to be the cheapest ive seen so far.
