Wal-Mart Secret Sale Friday 12/7
There is a new "Secret" sale starting Friday, 12/7, at Wal-Mart http://www.walmart.com/. There is a link on the left side of the screen.
Some items of interest are a 50" Vizio Plasma TV for $998, Gateway laptop for $398, Toshiba HD-A3 with 12 free HD-DVDs for $298 and a 40GB PS3 with a free $50 gift card for $399.
I couldn't find model numbers for the Gateway nor the Vizio. There is a Vizio 50" plasma on the Walmart.com site, model VP50, for $1,398.

There are no printed ads. Just an e-mail and a reference at the website. Word must get out though. When they had the last one on 11/2 I read they sold something like 90,000 of the Toshiba HD-A2 HD-DVD players.
