i love dumb and dumber but the "unrated" version is horrendous. it COMPLETELY changes the lloyd character. it pisses me off that they didn't include the theatrical release on it as well. there's not much for special features so i guess i'll sell back the unrated version and buy the theatrical, which i sold in anticipation of buying the new cut. big mistake.

Or $12 for all 4 if you can get the Google Checkout $10 off discount to work multiple times and you buy them in two groups of 2 instead of 1 group of 4.

Or $18 for all 4 if you can only get the discount once and you get them in 1 group of 4.

Which is why it's only recommended if you can use the GCO discount twice.

the extended hot tub scene had him treating harry badly. there were a couple of other instances of lloyd trying to be the dumb instead of the theatrical where he's definitely the dumber. lol

ah, that's true now that i think about it

it wasn't as big of a deal to me, but i love this movie so it's cool that you care that much.

one of the really awesome things about d&d is how insanely far they go with the stupidity and still maintain that (seemingly) genuine friendship between H&Ll

there is a delicate balance to it, not just in the performances but in the editing too.

i think i'm gonna have to buy both versions, but then they will announce a 2disc DLX version. haha

and man it would be great if someone would actually make a sequel.
