Jackass 2.5 coming to DVD Dec. 25

I was at my work (blockbuster *sigh*) and noticed in the computer that Jackass 2.5 was listed, and the date it's going to be released is Dec. 25th

For those who don't know, Jackass 2.5 is an entire other movie from the extra footage shot from Jackass number two.

Here are some Youtube videos from shoots being added to the movie.

Can't wait. I remember Bam talking about it on Howard Stern, but haven't really heard too much else on it. I'll be getting it the day after Christmas. Don't mind double dipping on this one. After all, I'm going to get the Evil Dead: Ultimate Edition (YEAH RIGHT!!!) when it comes out later this month.

Count me in. Steve O stated on Howard Stern's show that they are going to start shooting Jackass 3 in January

three weeks?! isn't that a bit quick for a release without any prerelease word or prior info? I'm game.

Jackass 3? I wonder if Bam will be there as he insisted that he won't involved if they're going to make Jackass 3 (that was after snake incident where his Jackass fellows learned he's scare of snakes )

What stores will be open Christmas day to sell it, other than the rental places?

I got to watch an advanced copy from Blockbuster. It's alright, it's kind of shot like a documentary explaining certain scenes that didn't work. The feature itself has its funny moments, but the best part is the scenes listed in the special features. It's 45 minutes worth and it's set up more like the movies (and the show) than the actual movie (2.5) itself.

thx!

studio is touting this as the first major release to drop online first...

seems like it's happened before at some point though..?

since the outtakes are the best part sometimes, i have high hopes for 2.5

Great. I'll be there on the 26th at Blockbuster with my $32 in hand to buy Jackass 2.5. How stupid. Blockbuster is such a rip off when they sell movies. It's probably going to be at least $24.99, but I'm going to buy it anway.

It's out early (available now!) at Best Buy for $19.99....I'm going to go pick one up in a while, watch it tonight, and give you my NSHO tomorrow. Or tonight, if I'm able to type after watching it....

Nope. And the only Blockbuster "exclusive" is that it's supposedly the only place you can rent it right now.

Ridiculous that Jackass 2, full release, could be had for 14.99 or so and this semi release is selling for 20+ dollars. I want to see it so it will definitely be a rental first.
