"American Gangster" or "Gone Baby Gone"?

I want to see a matinee of either of these today since I have off. Both look great to me, but was wondering what you think is the better pick for the day. Thanks.

Agreed. Gangster is decent, but of the two, Gone Baby Gone is the better film.

(Plus, Affleck was da bomb in Phantoms.)

Both are great, but Gone Baby Gone is the better movie. American Gangster is very entertaining though, so it depends on what you want to see.
