Great deal. I told my wife last night that I would love to watch all of the Buffy's again. I actually looked for the Chosen set at DDD during the sale, but they didn't have it listed. Now this looks me in the eye this morning. I am not going to buy it, but I kinda hope that my wife gets it for me for Christmas.

I've been waiting to get this forever and now that it's finally on sale again I have no money thanks to Black Friday. Oh well, hopefully it'll be on sale again (maybe even lower!) in a few months.

Okay - warning to everyone who DOESN'T already own this. Open it IMMEDIATELY when you get it! I didn't open mine until it was OOP and then discovered that I had two disc 4's in S3. Neither Amazon nor FOX would help me fix that since the set was OOP. So I had to buy S3, swap disc 5 out and return it to FOX then return the corrected S3 they sent to me. A hassle I could have avoid had I gone through the set right after I received it!

In for one, great price! I have already watched the first two seasons - third is still in the shrink wrap from buying it six months ago. Off to eBay with it...

This is kinda OT, but how did you contact Fox to exchange the DVD? I recently bought Season 4 of Angel, and Disc 4 was defective. I can't just return it to the store, since it was past 30 days before I watched it. Does Fox do exchanges like this? I'm trying to avoid the "buy another copy, switch out the bad DVD, return" method if possible.

They'll make you send them the complete set, not just the defective DVD. They'll then send you a sealed replacement.

Good price. I was ticked when I missed this same Gold Box deal back in the spring, so I just ordered it, but ugh...as if I hadn't spent way too much already between the DD and Black Friday sales.

I swear...this bargains forum is going to bankrupt me. I think for the sake of my wallet I need to just stay away from here until after the holidays!

I bought it for the shelf space reason. Although I have all seven seasons already, the amount of space is insane--especially with other TV seasons on the shelf. I'll give seasons 4 and 5 to my brother for Christmas (in his opinion, the show ended with season 5) and eBay the rest, I suppose.

There are more customer images on the Amazon page, but here's one from there for the lazy:

I'll stick with my slim sets; I don't think this will save enough space to warrant buying these a third time.

That is an awesome price. I also saw this set at Costco today for about $95 for those who are interested.

Thanks for the heads up! Did your Costco have a lot of them?

I ask because I've been thinking about getting this set for my girlfriend (as well as one for myself).

Why does DDD not have this?

CD-WOW has this for about $180

Is there any place else that will sell for less?

I was at my Costco on Sunday. It had a few of the Buffy sets. It also had several other full season sets like Gilmore Girls, Northern Exposure.

It DEFINITELY saves space. The width of the box is the size of a standard CD case - seven slimpacks are going to be mroe than double that. Plus you get that nifty extra DVD that is only available in this set.
