DVD Covers with secondary characters on the cover, but not the main character(s)?

I have the original Spaceballs release and Bill Pullman's name or picture is not on the cover, but Mel Brooks' name (on there twice) and picture (as Skroob) is on there. For some dumb reason it always annoyed me when I looked at the cover, since it felt like a slight to Pullman.

It's seems odd since Pullman (Lone Star) was one of the main characters and Mel Brooks' (Yogurt and Skroob) were secondary characters. I know it's his movie, but his name doesn't have to be on there twice.

He's on the Special Edition though.

Any other DVD's (with characters and names on cover) that don't have the main character/star but secondary characters?

The back cover summary even exaggerates her role in the film.

As a Julianne Moore fan, she was the main reason I picked up "Children of Men". She gets second billing on the DVD cover- needless to say I was shocked and saddened in her lack of screentime.

Meanwhile, Clare-Hope Ashitey, who plays the key character (no pun intended) doesn't even get a mention on the cover.

1776 (Jefferson is there, but Adams and Franklin are gone)

Some near misses are: Snatch (Brad Pitt is the first person on both covers) and Comic Book Villains (the stripper is in front of DJ).

The original 40 volumes of Star Trek make some obscure choices on the covers, in an attempt to keep things interesting.

This happens sometimes when an actor/actress becomes famous after the movie was made, and they go back and release or re-release it with that actor on the cover. The Hole has had at least three different covers, each later one with Keira Knightley more prominently featured. The latest has only her on the cover (plus her name in the critic's quote for good measure).

Also, just because someone is a main character in the film, it doesn't mean he/she necessarily gets top billing. In the Spaceballs example, Bill Pullman was billed after Mel Brooks and Rick Moranis. Same deal with Children of Men: Julianne Moore was billed over whats-her-name (no offense to Ms. Ashitey ).

The Last King of Scotland: Forest Whitaker did put on a great performance, don't get me wrong, but McAvoy's character, Nicholas, was the main character in the film. He got second billing in both the film's credits, and on the DVD cover, he wasn't even shown.

Congo, I mean Amy wasnt the only one in that movie, I think Tim Curry alone should grace the cover.

The original poster/first DVD version Apocalypse Now features Marlon Brando on the cover, but no Martin Sheen.

Most of the Star Trek TNG movies feature Picard, Data, and the bad guys.

I agree but Jefferson WAS one of the main characters, though Adams and Franklin were bigger characters.

Lets not forget that Martha Jefferson is also on the cover and she is in one scene.

Most versions of the original Little Shop of Horrors highlight Jack Nicholson, although he's barely in it.

Chushingura is the only dvd of mine that this really applies to. Toshiro Mifune takes up the complete cover, but in a 3 hour movie, he only has about 15 minutes of screen time towards the end.

I don't have it, but Half-Baked comes to mind. Dave Chappelle's face grew huge on later releases along with name-above-the-title status.

Wouldn't that be a tertiary character on the cover?

Not technically a DVD (yet), but I think it still applies:

On the posters for No Country for Old Men -

Tommy Lee Jones Javier Bardem Josh Brolin

I think Brolin should've gotten first billing. Don't get me wrong, Jones was fantabulous but I think Brolin should've gotten it.
