The Simpsons -- "Funeral For A Fiend" -- 11/25/07

"Funeral for a Fiend"
Spoiler:
Keith Olbermann appears in one of Marge's dream and guilts her into watching television commercials, as she makes it a habit of fast-forwarding through them. While watching hours worth of commercials to make up for the ones she skipped, the family is compelled to visit Wes Doobner's World Famous Family Style Rib Huts, where Sideshow Bob has planned a hoax in an effort to trick the family into their demise.

First Aired: Sunday November 25, 2007

Edit -- Here's another sypnosis:
Spoiler:
Bart accidentally kills Sideshow Bob, and Cecil asks Bart to attend the memorial service.

Tivo stuff was awesome.

Should have involved Bob's family more, well, aside from the brother.

John Mahoney playing Sideshow Bob's brother was a nice touch.

That was a damn good episode - it was solid through and through. Great bits from Itchy & Scratchy and solid contributions from each Simpson.

I didn't realize that until the credits - kinda woulda been more fun if he had sounded more like Martin Crane.

Good episode, but the synopsis gave away a little too much.

If I didn't know in advance John Mahoney would be voicing Bob's dad, I would never have guessed. It sounded nothing like him.

I was really hoping for a good Frasier joke though like Cecil's first episode ("Maris?").

This episode was my favorite of the season so far.

loved the Tivo bit! but I felt like it was shoe horned into the episode. They could have done a whole show on Tivo, and all the shows that it would recommend for Homer.

D'oh, I meant father. The British accent is what made me think it might be him. Mahoney is actually British, but you would never guess from watching Fraiser.
