Vegas. Busy in December?

I go to Vegas about 3-4 times a year, but I have never been in December. I am heading out there mid Dec on the 14th. I like a little bit of a crowd as it really just makes things seem more fun. Is Vegas still pretty busy during this time of year?

It's one of the lighter times of year but there are always people around.

It is always busy, but not like March Madness or similar swamped times.

If you're interested in poker ... there is a tourney at the Bellagio that runs until December 18. It's a WPT event. Might want to check it out.

It's pretty empty during the early part of the month. Christmas to New Years, it gets busy.

Also, if you hate Christmas music you may not enjoy yourself too much. I went the week before Christmas for several years and they were piping it in non-stop. Fortunately I'm a sucker for Christmas music.
