Black Santa's Revenge with Ken Foree Released on DVD

Thought I'd share this... DVD Talk Writer David Walker has produced a short film with Ken Foree called Black Santa's Revenge which is Now on DVD

Here's the cover:

and the trailer:
<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/AHIk2EVyA-4&rel=1&border=0"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/AHIk2EVyA-4&rel=1&border=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

He's selling the film for $13 which includes shipping and handling.

I saw the film at the Longbaugh film fest and it was a ton of fun. Soon to be an Xmas Classic "Merry Xmas you Naughty Mother" - Black Santa

Walker himself did a great imitation of Adolph Ceasar on that trailer (In case you don't know, Ceasar was like the "Don LaFontaine of 70's exploitation trailers")

And there's plans to eventually make this short into a full-fledged feature? *Signin' up*

A 20 minute short film? Looks good, but is too bad it's not a full length movie.

Actually, juding by the trailer we're probably lucky it's not full length. Something like this is a perfect fit for a short. It looks bad, but in that "watch it with a bunch of friends and get drunk" bad.

If the DVD does well I believe there are plans to do a full feature.

From the "critic" who wrote this?

"The point is that I know something about grindhouse films. In fact, I've probably forgotten more than most people have ever known."

PASS.

$13 for a YouTube video...the nerve of some people.

Considering that he was the publisher of Bad Azz Mofo, pretty much the definitive publication for Blacksploitation films his statement is actually correct. Also he was the Screen Editor for the Willamette Week for 7 years, so yeah he's a critic my friend.

You may not like what he has to say, but that doesn't mean he isn't a film critic. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Film_criticism
