Yeah, it comes out to about 33% off if you buy titles of the same price. The Combo HD DVDs should be avoided. Way too much, unless a person really needs the title now. They could be found for much less later on this year.

Seems the Best of HD-DVD might be a good deal. It comes out to $9.83 per movie. Already own Last Samurai and have Swordfish on the way (hopefully) so not worth it for me.

Also, it's strange that Lethal Weapon 2 is on the list but not the original...

I wish they would put on the NON-combo DVDs of some of these titles, such as Good Night, and Good Luck; Ant Bully. Sigh.

Well I managed to find three on the list.

Definitely wanted Land of the Dead. Figured I'd get Fast Times At Ridgemont High as I don't own the DVD, and went with We Were Soldiers to round it out.

Well, I tried to order 2 separate orders, one with Fear and Loathing, Red Dragon, and Sky Captain. The other with the three HD DVD sets. The discount never applied at the confirmation screen. I even tried with an alternative shipping address... It still won't work. I have an Amazon Prime membership... I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

Over a year ago, Amazon offered a promo that if you bought a player, or bought 3 HDDVDs at the same time, you'd get 10% off all HD purchases for a year. Then they extended it for another year.

The promo to get in on the deal has long since expired, however.
