ONE TREE HILL Season 5 Premiers January 8th
According to The Futon Critic, the fifth season will premier Tuesday, January 8th, 2008 at 8pm for a double-length episode. Subsequent episodes will air at 9pm tuesdays.
I'm actually really excited for this! I've always liked the series and I think the whole fast-forwarding 4 years idea could be really interesting.
I mean we've seen how high school series usually fail when the characters go off to college. Just because college and high school are usually two very different things - and college is usually portrayed in highly unrealistic ways. But never has a show fastforward to show the characters starting their lives after college. And I guess I'm the perfect target-audience being a college junior, haha.

According to the "Peyton" myspace page (its an official page) they have 12 episodes in the can, including the 100th episode (which Mark Schwahn, the creator/show-runner, says can act as a season, even series-finale if needs be).
