I see on Amazon that they have the new Ewan McGregor/Charley Boorman travel DVD listed with a release date of December 4th, but you can't preorder it. Is this correct? Usually it seems that you can preorder from Amazon before they even know when the release date is.

I believe what you mean is "Long way round", while the original post was about the duo's new series which is still currently on tv??

Yeah, as far as I can tell the new series won't be aired until 2008 in the US, but Amazon's listing of a Dec 4, 2007 release date (for a NTSC DVD) has my hopes up that we might get it sooner. I was really hoping they would release the new series in combination with an unabridged version of Long Way Round.

Whoops..ok I had no idea they were making a follow up to the original Long Way round series. Good to know they will hopefully be leasing this soon.

Speaking of which, I rented this on Netflix only to find out that Disc 2 was a PAL disc! Good thing I had a backup R0 player to finish the series.

Nice to know that a new show is going on. I take it the 2 of them are going around the world in the lower hemisphere this time around?
