$3 & $5 coupons for Shrek, Transformers & others in November 18th newspaper

Just got this weekends Sunday paper and inside with all the other ads and coupons there is a large sheet of coupons. On one side their is pictures of Shrek the Third and Transformers with a blue banner above that says "Save Over $30 on Great DVDs for Everyone on your List!"

$3.00 coupons for:
Transformers
Shrek the Third
Blades of Glory
Shrek 1 or Shrek 2
Disturbia
Flushed Away
Norbit
Over the Hedge

$5 coupons for:
Transformers HD DVD
Shrek the Third HD DVD

All coupons expire December 31, 2007.

How do these coupons work?

Cut them out, buy the DVD(s) you want and give the relevant coupon(s) to the cashier at the same time. Voila! You saved yourself $3 to $5 on each DVD.

I pulled the coupon out of the Los Angeles Times, took it to Circuit City since they had a buy 2 HD DVD's receive the 3rd for free sale. Shrek 3 on HD DVD was $29.99 - $5, Deer Hunter for $24.99 and Mummy returns for $24.99. Came to $48 plus tax for all three. Not to bad but I'm still looking for a real big Hd DVD sale. If I had not already purchased Transformers I would have bought that with Shrek and Deer Hunter.

P.S. One other thing the $5 off coupon did not come up and neither did the buy 2 get one free so the manager and to adjust the whole thing manually. Good luck

thanks for the heads up! will probably use this to get disturbia on black friday. i think it's $9.99 someplace, so with the coupon it'd be brought down to $6.99. cool.

Tried to pick up Flushed Away at Circuit City today ($8.99). Figured with a coupon it'd be hard to pass up.

Well, visited 2 different CC's and both only had the Foolscreen edition in stock. Not sure if they ever carried the Widescreen or they simply sold out before I got there.

Got mine in the Detroit News/Free Press on Sunday, i was wondering if the Transformers coupon could be used on the 2 disc edition they show the cover of the single disc on the coupon itself, also will use the Blades of Glory this week at my local Family Video who are having a big weekend sale as of now it's $7.95 probally will be $5.95 for the sale so i'll get it for $2.95.
