Killer Of Sheep (http://www.tlavideo.com/details/product_details.cfm?id=255930&v=1) is available for pre-order (releases on 11/20) at a very limited number of merchants. The best deal I can find is at TLAvideo.com where their price is $24.99. First you should enroll in their TLA Wire and they'll e-mail you a coupon code for $5 (http://www.tlavideo.com/support/supportOption.cfm?v=0&sn=1&g=0&supID=41) off your first order. Shipping was $2 for me but if you want to search for something else, they seem to have free shipping on orders over $25. Tax only in PA.
Alternatively, you can use the coupon PRGRB (Pricegrabber) to get 10% off any $15 order...but the code do NOT stack.

Is this site good? I've never heard of them before but am thinking of giving them a go for this set. Has any one ever used them?

Thank you!
I put in an order. I missed this when it played in theatres locally, didn't have the time to see. I wasn't going to get the dvd right away as I thought it was going to be too expensive, this was a good enough price for me to give it a shot.
Thanks Mosskeeto, this sets sounds like it's going to be good.

If you recently joined barnes and noble, it ends up being around the same price after the 25% coupon (although tax may make it a little more).

I've been wanting to see this since its induction to the National Film Registry back in 1990.

Thanks for the info.

I ordered on the 17th of November and my copy is backordered "usually ships in 2-3 weeks."

No, I actually got a shipping notice last week.
Lucky you. :scratch2: They are currently OOS and their site is being updated, so at this time they can't tell exactly when the orders will be filled.
Soon...I would imagine.

I ordered on the 16th and received a shipping notice on the 18th. Perhaps I just got lucky.

The latest I'm getting from them is that this item is still OOS with no known date for fulfillment. Anyone else getting a different story?

So if I don't e-mail them back, they cancel my order? It hasn't been 60 days yet, so I don't quite understand.

Mr. Neff- It sounds to me that they're saying that your order will remain, pending fulfillment, for 60 days from the date it was placed.

I'm not too upset about my order, which was fulfilled after they restocked for the preorders, but the packaging left something to be desired. It was shipped in a padded manilla envelop (not the bubble lined type but the paper pulp filled) which did little to help strenghten the cardboard DVD case. So my case arrived with a corner crushed flat but the discs were fine. I'm more concerned that the cardboard will be harmful to the longetivity of the discs. Unless the sleeves are acid-free or buffered (neutral pH) I plan on replacing them. I know they're 100% recycled but that doesn't mean they're archival.

This can be had from Barnes & Noble for $22.09 with one of the 25% member coupons, in case anyone doesn't want to wait on TLA to get it back in stock.
