V for Vendetta

Man this movie really sucked. I love Natalie Portman too, but even the hot Nat could not save this mess.

I couldn't think of a better reason to start a thread for a two year old movie.

Movie age...

If a movie is 50 years old, does really matter if its the first time you watched it?

and in the wrong forum too....

welcome to DVDtalk. I know it says you registered earlier in the year but I guess you haven't really spent much time here yet. In particular please take some time to look around and get a feel for the various forums that are here. Specifically talk about the movie itself usually goes into Movie Talk. In general you also usually want to look to see if there is an existing thread about what you are talking about, instead of just starting a new one (the "search" feature in the upper right hand corner of the screen helps w/ this). For example here's the V for Vendetta thread that is already going on in the Movie Talk forum http://forum.dvdtalk.com/showthread.php?t=452077

One thing to note about your post though. In the main DVDtalk forum there is a rule against what's called threadcrapping. That is coming into a thread about the DVD and posting a negative opinion about the movie (aka nothing specifically related to the DVD). So had this been a thread on V for Vendetta and you posted the above it would have been considered a threadcrap. In the review type threads, such as the ones usually found in Movie Talk, this is not the case. You can go in and post a negative review, but people usually like you to back up your opinion w/ specifics.

I hope all that helps and again welcome to DVDtalk. I know this may seem like a lot to dump on you at once, but once you get a feel for the place I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as our other regulars.
