Best Buy 11/23 ad - HBO sets 50% off
This is just so everyone who is jumping in on Six Feet Under may want to wait. Also Rome, Sopranos, and Deadwood included as well as every other HBO series!!

Is this offer just for Black Friday? Will it be offered online or just in store. I just ordered the Sopranos Season 6 Vol. 2 at Deep Discount 20% off sale and I was going to order Flight of the Conchords today. I dont know if its worth fighting the crowds on Black Friday just to save a few bucks.

Maybe my memory is faulty (I have a mind like a steel sieve sometimes), but didn't they do this last year, either on Black Friday or a special one-day sale? Or was that in the 20-25% neighborhood?
It's deja vu all over again.

Question: If you buy something before hand, then come back on BF, do BB/CC allow you to price match? I want to get an HDTV, but I will be out of town and won't be able to transport it.

I'd love to get my hands on Curb Your Enthusiasm 1,2,3&5, Flight Of The Conchords and Da Ali G Show but I'm not sure I will if this deal is available only on Black Friday, I never go shopping on black friday.

It's so very tempting to grab what I need of The Sopranos at that price (and new) even though they've hinted that the complete series is coming next Christmas and on HD and BD. Very tempting.

Seeing the recent spate of HBO TV sales at BB, Sams' Club, etc., it looks like many of these TV series can be had for less than $20 per season if one is willing to wait a couple of years after their release. I paid $45 a series for Carnivale S1&2 and Rome S1 at BB's 50%-off sale last year; it seemed like a good deal at the time but now it obviously is not. So, as much as I would like to get Deadwood S1-3 I think I will hold off and pass on BB's 50%-off sale this year.

I was hoping for great sales on both SFU and Deadwood this year. I got my wish for SFU early with the BB sale this week. Even with the 50%, $42+ Tax/season is a little more than I wanted to spend after dropping $100 on SFU 1-5.
