My review copy was mailed out this week. Depending on the speed of the post office, I should have a review up either later this week or early next.

Wish I could comment more, but the only time I saw it was when it aired ages ago, and the only thing I remember about it was that it took me a looong time to get used to Opus' voice. Anyone else have fresher memories?

Thanks!

I think I will buy it anyway. It's only $10.00 or so.

I only have the old LaserDisc, but I don't forsee upgrading to the DVD.

The tone of the special mirrors the "Wish" book, and does not mirror classic Bloom County humor.

However, if ya LOVED the book, that is exactly what ya get.

As already stated, I agree, I did not care for the voice work, only because it was in no way how I could ever imagine the characters sounding. Just my stinkie opinion.

I still would watch a Bloom County "funnie pickture." This ain't it.

(Fans will want to skim the overlong bits of background info, as they already know that stuff.)
