Just curious to know what's the difference between this and this ?

Have they just stuffed the set in the referigerator? If that is the case, then why is the set-in-fridge version cheaper?

Wow, those are good prices for Seinfeld -- $16.99 for Seasons 1&2 through 8. Especially since S8 is "on sale" in this week's flyer for $29.99. THANKS! I'll definitely be picking up Season 8 now. Only one more to go....

Damn... I'm assuming these are online only prices. I guess I'll pass for now and wait to see if this eventually makes it down to the B&M level (I want to get full value out of my "triple reward zone points" before 11am thing).

I thought it was "double" reward zone points before 11am

They are B&M, too (though not advertised as such). These deals are being discussed in a couple of other threads, too.

Woo-hoo! I'll have to hit Best Buy tomorrow morning then before class.

And to whomever asked, if you have the Reward Zone Mastercard then you get triple points before 11am.

I ordered Seinfeld S8 as well (instore pickup) but the site says it's now out of stock.

Just a heads up to check out the deepdiscount website before buying at bb. Some titles, All in the Family for example, while $16.99 at bb, is $17+ at ddd and naturally will be cheaper with the upcoming sale (assuming no price increase). Seinfeld S9 is $29.89 at the moment. . .

Is this valid everyday or just for specific days/time periods? Thanks.

Hmmm, I swear Seinfeld S8 was $16.99 yesterday, today's it's $21.99.

oh, and not available for in-store pickup for me either. Guess I'll hold off.

Hmmm, Carnivale and Six Feet Under for $20? I've never watched either (well, I watched a few eps of early SFU), are these highly recommended at $20? Do they ever get cheaper than that elsewhere?

Also, any chance either is released in hi-def? I guess I'd just assume wait if there was a chance of that, and fork over the extra money then.

$20 for these sets is DAMN good. I'd take advantage of the deal.

Carnivale could be released in an HD format. I think the first two seasons of SFU were not mastered in HD, but the later discs are in 16:9, so maybe those will be available in HD.

Not good on 11/23. If you sign up later, it's also retroactive to 11/4.

You're right, it was. On Sunday, Season 8 was $16.99 and was available online and for in-store pickup.

Yesterday, it was sold out online with no in-store pickup, but when I checked it last night, it was for sale online only for $16.99.

Then today, they bumped it up to $21.99, obviously due to all the purchases for this one season (seasons 1-7 remain at $16.99)

Just picked up SFU and Carnivale for 19.99 apiece. I have seen bits and pieces of both series and liked/loved what I saw so this was a no-brainer. IMO, this is very much worth it. Even some of the cashiers came over and couldn't believe they were so cheap. When I was walking around juggling an armful of big expensive looking releases in my hands all the employees we commenting on how I was a "big spender" - I wonder if they even knew!

FWIW, I could have sworn I just saw Seinfeld S8 in store for $16.99... but I wasn't paying much attention because for some reason I just never could get into that series... I could be totally mistaken, but if anyone's in the Ann Arbor BB take a quick look if your interested.

Glad to know I wasn't imagining this! I'm not in a huge hurry to get this so I feel I can it at this price in the future (I hope!).

Seinfeld Season 8 was $16.99 in store (York, PA) when I went in this morning, so those of you trying to do in-store pick up might just want to check the shelves at your local BB.

This wasn't an overnight change as it was still $16.99 this morning. I was debating whether I wanted to pay the $1.99 to have it shipped. Oh well, I might check in store as the previous poster mentioned. If not, I'll just wait.

Thanks for the info. I'll check it out in-store too. If not there, I'll wait for it to come back down as well.

Wow. What a deal.

I am thinking if I really want to drop $100 right now on the SFU entire series.
