Newegg.com and sales?

Hey everyone. I'm in need of a larger HDD for my Macbook, and I've found one on newegg. However, I can wait if there's a possibility of a sale. I don't normally buy computer hardware b/c I'm just an average user, so I don't really know how frequently they offer sales or whatnot.

So, would it be safe to expect a sale of some kind in the coming weeks, or is that not how Newegg works (generally speaking)?

I don't ever remember there being a sale, they do have specials listed on the front page every week but that will only save 5-10% if your lucky.

Indeed, they will email you deal codes/coupons that are only available to existing subscribers.

Their prices are already pretty good. Shipping is reasonable too. You may want to wait for Black Friday, 3 weeks away. I recall last year they had some great deals.
