Please help rule on this scenario (and if possible, please link to a site where this rule is defined)

6 Players, blinds at $20/$40, this is all pre-flop:

Player 3 raises all in for $125.
Player 4 folds.
Player 5 goes all in for $100.
Player 6 (dealer) folds.
Player 1 (small blind) folds his blind of $20.
Player 2 (big blind) calls $125.

So we obviously have a side pot. The side pot that Player 5 is entitled to - would it be:
$100x3 = $300
$100x3 = $300 + $20 (small blind) = $320

Player 5 can win $320
Player 3 can win the $320 + 50, or just $50 assuming he/she loses to player 5 but beats the other caller (player 2)

How can Player 5 get more than a triple-up? That doesn't seem right.

Because 4 people put money into the pot (players 1,2,3,5).

OK - I guess that makes sense that he is entitled to that $20 folded.

I thought this was a no-brainer - I thought player 5 was entitled to $320. It caused quite a stir at our local game the other night however. Not so much the amount, but the principle. Here's my logic on why I think it should be $320 - I'll change the scenario:

6 Players, blinds at $20/$40, this is all pre-flop:

Player 3 bets $100.
Player 4 folds.
Player 5 calls all in for $100.
Player 6 (dealer) folds.
Player 1 (small blind) folds his blind of $20.
Player 2 (big blind) calls $100.

In this scenario, the whole pot would be put in front of player 5 and then the potential for a side pot between player 2 and 3 after the flop. I don't think in this scenario you'd pull $20 aside for a side pot between players 2 and 3, would you?

I realize this is kind of splitting hairs, but I'm just curious how to play this.

PeMo you had it correct.

Here's a link to some poker rules for all ins: http://www.homepokertourney.com/allin_examples.htm

This is a great poker site.
