In your opinion. I thought it was the best season since the first one. It was definitely an improvement over the Carver storyline debacle.

I am ready. Has the show always been filmed in LA ? Or was Miami the real deal.

I enjoyed the carver thing. I did not, however, enjoy the crab claw baby storyline...I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinions Hopefully moving to LA will make things fresher.

I really liked season 4. It felt like they really closed the circle on the whole Miami era.

Hell yeah for Nip/Tuck: LA

To answer Big Daddy's question, the show has always been shot in LA.

I stopped watching the show after season 2 or 3. But I've read a bit about what's been going on, and I'm intrigued enough to check out Nip/Tuck: LA. Since they're moving to LA, does that mean we won't be following any of Sean's family? Are we getting a fresh start? Or should I try and catch up and Tivo the new ones?

Regarding Sean's family:

Spoiler:
Matt will be back, but Julia will return with a new twist. She will have a lesbian girlfriend played by Portia De Rossi (go figure)

I wonder if we'll see some cameos from the docs from Dr. 90210.

I don't know anybody can answer that. I imagine that you'd enjoy it more if you knew the characters the way those of us who have been watching do, but this does represent a break from at least some of the ongoing stories the show had developing the past seasons.

Of course it's his opinion. When someone states something like that, it is assumed it is an opinion. And I'm with him, last season sucked. It was the worst of the entire run.

I think the most recent season was weak in many regards, but it had some very enjoyable individual episodes. The season-long arc was a mess that made the Carver stuff seem like high art, though.

He's probably on DTV, which has FXHD. I don't think any cable provider offers FXHD yet.

I don't think the world could take a possible union of McNamara / Troy & Robert Rey or David Matlock or Gary Motykie. The world would probably implode from awesomeness.
