Another great episode! Michael C. Hall's performance never fails to amaze me and the writing remains consistent and superb. Lila and her role are growing on me, as well.
They always seem to end the show on a great note, too - especially this episode! It's pretty much the only show I watch where I feel "disappointed" that I can't immediately start the next episode.

So speculating based on the info we got from tonight's episode...is Dexter really Harry's biological son? Is that why he pulled him from the container and left Brian to basically fend with the system?

I thought that Dex ran blood tests last season that proved the other guy was his real father...but it appears that Harry and his mom appeared to be lovers at least. While Dexter was listening to the tape, young Dexter was with his mom and Harry promised to both of them that they would be okay. It was probably a combination of his young age and a guilty mind that lead Harry to pick up only Dexter.

Just like a little girl gave this book as a gift to Micheal C. Hall's character in Six Feet Under, Astor (Rita's daughter) should give this book to Dexter, I'm sure he'd get a kick out of it just as much if not more than David Fisher would.

Did I not call the "Bonnie and Clyde" angle from last week's episode? Nothing like watching 2 sociopaths revealing themselves to one another, very touching stuff.
Anyone get the cuddlies watching Deb and Lundy?
LOL when Doakes got Maria to tip her hand on Pasquales short stint as lieutenant.
Too bad Dexter got filmed in the act of washing down his boat.

No comments on Lila's shower scene?
As for the camera filming Dexter... looking forward to seeing how he gets out of this... he can possibly cop to the looking for traces of drugs to get rid of angle... but who knows
I am enjoying this season more than last, I love how Dexter's fake heroin addiction has opened up new complications and solved a few problems...

I listened to Jeff Lindsay's first Dexter book on my Nuvi GPS a few weeks ago on my move from IN to LaGrange, GA. It was a perfect complement to the first season and I highly recommend it. It made me appreciate the writing and character development of the show that much more. It really is the kind of story that tells itself better over a 12 hour show than if it had been made into a movie.
I plan on reading the other books eventually but
A) I've heard they aren't as good.
B) I prefer watching the show first (although the second book and season are very different from what I've read).

I'm a huge fan of this show, but she's got the most irritating British accent I've ever heard in my life. It's like Kelly LeBrock tweaking on cocaine.

I was a big fan of the show "Hustle" but I got a bit tired of Jaime Murray's character and I'm afraid I've transferred those feelings to her role as Lila. "Dexter" is still my favorite show on television so I'm not complaining too much.

The investigation pinpointed one of the possible sources of the algie being at the marina Dexter docks his boat at. Dexter knew this. I don't get how someone as careful as Dexter would not think the place is now being monitored either in person or by surveillance camera.
