(DEAD?) HOT Walt Disney Treasures: The Chronological Donald Vol Two DVD $4.50 Shipped

http://disneyshopping.go.com/webapp/...tegoryId=13898

At the Disney store online they must be trying to get rid of this one. It is only $4.50 shipped. Normally at least $22.

They are in stock now but I'm sure they will go fast.

Unfortunately I went through all the DVDs they had and this is the only one I found on clearance.

In for one.

Thanks. I wouldn't accept one of the credit cards that I had for some reason.

Well, that didn't last too long. It's showing as no longer available.

Whenever I click on Add to Cart it says "Oops! The product cannot be ordered at this time." even though it shows as in stock.

Do I have to create an account and be logged in first or is the deal already dead?

I was thinking of buying another thought I already have this because I buy Walt Disney Treasures the day they come out solely on the fear (thanks to Disney's playing inventory games) that they will go out of print almost instantly and sell for hundreds on eBay within a few weeks (didn't that happen on a couple of the waves?). I paid the full $24.99.

EDIT: I see 2 others posted beat me with a new post, so I guess it's dead. I guess only a handful of people got in on this.

I was able to order one, but now when I check the order on their site, the status is "Closed". I wonder if that means the order will be cancelled?

Thanks for the heads up! Ordered one for myself, even though I don't have the first Donald Duck collection. I also ordered mine at 9:50 a.m. CST.

Dang, wish I would've seen this earlier. Especially if everyone's orders go through.

It only lasted 5 minutes. Only a hand-full of people got in on it, so don't worry about it. I saw the post 7 minutes after he posted it, and it was already dead at that time...

This set had notorious quality issues for the second half of cartoons, unrestored and with VHS like appearance. To add insult to injury the first half of these DONALD DUCK cartoons are an exact duplicate of those from another Disney Treasures, ON THE FRONT LINES. Since that batch of Donald wartime cartoons was already remastered for the previous tin, they just used the same transfers for this one, but the other ones have abysmal quality. Even Leonard Maltin apologized for it when this tin was released.

It's certainly worth buying for less than five bucks, especially if you don't have the ON THE FRONT LINES set, but maybe all the bad press caused this one to stockpile for Disney and that's why they're blowing it out now.
