Today's kids are too scared to climb trees, or they would rather climb a tree in a video game because it's easier :)

The problem is that most trees around here suck. Tropical trees are much easier and more fun to climb.

For example, a mango tree is much easier and more fun to climb than birch.

I climbed a lot of trees as a kid. Maples are the best to climb, or oaks, but I understand why they wouldn't climb much in the south...it's all a bunch of pine, which is impossible to scramble onto.
