Meerkat Manor is a current show, and it's worthy of discussion.

And it's also beating the Sopranos right now, among people who have seen both shows.

It's a long running documentary on meerkats, which are small (about 1.5 pounds) carnivorous animals that live in the Kalahari Desert in Africa. They live in very complex social groups. The show is in its third season. The first 2 seasons are on DVD.

New episodes air each Friday at 8:30 P.M. eastern time on Animal Planet. They also play the previous week's episode right before the new one, at 8:00 P.M.

I've seen every episode of The Sopranos. I've seen one episode of Meerkat Manor.

No question: Tony would whack that little furry fuck and send Big Pussy to eat his family. Sopranos win.
