Is it me, or has the Adult Forum really come to a screeching halt since the move?

I like the new Adult forum but it seems like it has really slowed down since moving. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?

It's all a plot...
1. Steal underpants
2. Create new Adult Forum site and divide everything up into numerous, confusing subforums that people aren't going to want to take the time to navigate
3. Profit!

I know I have. I've visited maybe once or twice since it switched over but that's about it.

Seriously though, many people are lazy and it will take time for them to participate. New members will join too and the level of forum traffic will increase with time, especially after the media blitz by Sex Z Pictures and All Play Media that has taken place. More of the reviewers are adding pictures and as you continue to iron out some of the other bugs, the audience will grow.

Good point and I do. But I'm curious as to why others have stopped. Some here have said, "it's not the same". Well what's so different?

Personally, I liked all my porn in one place. Navigating is a pain-in-the-ass.
Maybe it's just meant for a different audience.

I can see why there might be less people posting there. When the adult forum was here, it was just a small overall part of DVDTalk, so there was less stigma attached to it. Now it's a full fledged PORNO community, and that might scare some people off.

I think the number of forums has spread the traffic too thin. It's like having a dozen Book Talk forums. I look at the top level, and there are only a few forums which have had posts 'yesterday' or 'today'.
I don't like the black text the red banners at the top of each post. There is too little contrast. I have to move my head close to the monitor to see if the post was made this year. Frequently, the post is old, because antique threads are being revived.
It leaves a bad taste in my mouth when the writer of a movie has his name removed from the credits. What terrible changes have been made to his script that he no longer wants his name associated with the result? Similarly, when an Adult Forum moderator has his name removed from all his old posts, I wonder what's going on behind the scenes.
I don't visit sites such as Adult DVD Talk. I've checked some of them out. I think that they aren't as interesting to me because people in the porn industry are there for different talents than being funny and articulate. The sites are just not as much fun.

I still read put I have stopped posting since it moved to it's own site.
The new feel is more of a full fledged porn site and that is not what I'm in to.
I enjoyed the casual style we used to have. Kinda like chatting with people like yourself about fun and interesting topics.

I went into Adult mainly to see what Giantrobo had to say about the fact that Britney has put on a few pounds or see some newb ask a silly question about how many of us DVD Talkers like sex with loaves of french bread and then watch him get shamed from ever posting again by the barrage of "WTF" posts.
I guess it does feel somewhat "creepy" or something with it being a full-on porn forum. And I'm about as far from a prude as you can get.

I think all the sub-forums really are unnecessary. It's like if you took the Other Forum and divided it into "PhotoShops", "In Jokes", "Otter Meetings", "News Stories", "Relationships", etc....
All together it has a good amount of posts, but when you split it up, it's just not that much in each forum.

I don't get the little teasers to draw me in (aka "last post"), and since last time I checked there was no link back here, once I'm there I'm trapped in pornoland.
