For those of you who got it/saw it for $19.99...was there a price/sale sticker or sign indicating the $19.99 price or did it just ring up at that price? I saw it yesterday at a local CC with a price sticker of $34.99. I'd bite on this for $19.99 but not the higher price.

Never, ever, ask a store employee about a "deal" or special pricing. Just scan what you might want, and politely change your mind at the register if it doesn't come up with the price/package you want.
But at Circuit City, where it takes 30 minutes to get anyone to ring you up at the register....

I went to four Circuit City stores, two of which has a $19.99 sign on the DVD stand while the other two none.. Like what other siggested, bring the said set to the counter and if it rang up at $34.. then just simply say "No" else if it rang up at $19.99 pay it and walk out smiling!

No such luck at my Circuit City. As of 11 AM this morning, it's ringing up 32.99. I was unable to get it at Blockbuster either as all of my Blockbusters are franchises. I was able to price match the 32.99 price at Best Buy and get a ticket to Saw IV at least.

Unfortunately this is standard for these weird phantom deals--they're tuesday only and unadvertised.
One wonders what the hell the point of them is...

Just picked this up for 19.99 at my CC. It had a 39.99 sticker on it, but was placed over a shelf tag that said 19.99. I found it funny that it was right next to the Saw III DC which was 16.99. Even if I owned both of the previous films, I would've got the trilogy instead.

went to cc today to get it, they had a spot on the "new release" rack that said $19.99, but they were completely sold out, pretty lame waste of a trip. I'll try tomorrow up by school and see if people are smart there too.

Actually ScottdaleSaint.. I feel the same way as you do (You just dont know how much agony I felt last week seeing the lovely Sabrett posted the amazing deal and get ahead of streetdate, though I feel happy for her and for the rest who got the deal).
I may have been late by a week but sure do walked out HAPPY and SMILING with this offer!

I had the same instance here in Clearwater, FL (just got back about an hour ago). But there most definetly a tag on the shelf with the $19.99 price and the UPC on the tag matches the set.

Well, no such luck for me. It had a $32.99 red tag. Had them ring it up just to be sure and it was the same price. Ah! I'll just wait until the holidays or something.
