DVD Talk review of 'Transformers'
I read Francis Rizzo III's DVD review of Transformers at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=30899 and...
I agree on almost everything you said, Francis... But I have to say, I grew up watching 'toons in the '80s and Transformers was a favorite of mine as well. For some reason, however, I skipped the 1986 movie and hadn't seen it until this year (I wanted a quick review of the original characters before I saw Bay's movie). And I have to say, CHEESE is right. The movie is HORRIBLE! The music alone had me cringing - "You've got the POWER!" - ugh!
Anyhow... just had to say... fans can hold onto the original TV cartoon, but let go of that shitty movie that gives all 80s movies a bad name. blech.
