Anyone else having trouble signing in to XBL?
I haven't been able to connect all day. I called my buddy & he can't connect either. (Obviously) my internet is working fine, and my cable is working fine, so I figure it's an XBL issue. I get to the 'test connection' page when I try to connect. I have Comcast.

Thanks guys. I just called 4myxbox and the recording said they are experiencing problems with alot of people not being able to connect and they are aware of the problem. I was going to just call first, but I hate jumping through the hoops that are xbox customer service recordings.

I played Halo online about 1 or 2 hours ago and I had no problems.

I dont know if I should create a new thread or just add on here, but I just bought an Xbox 360 elite and have a couple questions about Live.
How do you get that free month of Xbox Live Gold? There isnt anything in the stuff I got thats like a promo code or password etc
Also, Im trying to start it up and Im going through all the tests and I get to the MTU test and fail everytime. I have no clue how to make that work, I tried looking online by searching MTU setting, change MTU etc and I just get computer jargon...it might as well be in Japanese. Any help?

I couldn't connect yesterday afternoon. Everything checked out fine during the tests but when it got to the Xbox Live connection, it simply said "failed". And it had worked fine the day before.
Haven't checked it today but I chalked it up to XBL problems. Glad to hear I'm not the only one.

Mine finally came back on around 8:15 last night. Man, what an empty feeling when XBL is down.

Yeah, mine came back shortly after I couldn't connect. Same thing happened a week or two ago, where I would fire up the console and it just wouldn't connect. Not to mention passing all tests except for the XBox Live connectivity. Oh well.
